Join us for a two day workshop in Botanical Drawing with the professional artist Rebecca Cartwright de Fontenelle.

Enjoy and take inspiration from the peaceful oasis of the garden while Rebecca takes you through the techniques of botanical drawing.

Create your own drawing to take home and put on display.

We will be providing paper, basic drawing materials and pigments to make water-based tempera drawings but please feel free to bring your own materials if you want to do any oil painting.

Meet Rebecca Cartwright de Fontenelle

Rebecca studied painting at the Slade School of Fine Art and specialise in figurative narrative painting. Recently her paintings have had biblical themes. Rebecca believes plants are wonderful subjects because they are so marvellous, surprising and beautiful.
