QCF Level 2 Diploma

An accredited City and Guilds training center, the Garden has been successfully running NVQ training in horticulture aimed at the unemployed for over 19 years. We aim to build students’ confidence, motivation and self esteem, as well as providing them with the necessary skills to re-enter the labour market.

We cover a wide range of areas such as

  • Basic gardening skills for complete beginners; with equipment provided

  • Help with literacy and numeracy

  • Career advice

  • Job search support to help find employment

  • CV and interview prep

If you are aged 16 to 25 for all Boroughs or up to 29 for Lambeth residents and not in work, or would like a new career in gardening, look no further!

Our course is open to people of all abilities so please contact us to find out more.

Benefits are not affected.

Many of our students go on into full-time employment, some making a very successful career in horticulture and others going on to train at a higher level elsewhere.
