Herb Walk: Edible & Medicinal Plants
Join community medical herbalist Rasheeqa Ahmad of Hedge Herbs for a day exploring the blossoming and green abundance of Maytime, the start of the summer season of high life in the plant world. Areas covered will include:

Connecting with the pharmacy that healing plants offer - how they interact with us
Current medicinal uses and research from clinical practice
Responsible harvesting practices in the urban setting
Folklore and history of our local medicinal plants
Sensory tea tastings to connect with the plants through our bodies
Making of a simple remedy from the garden
