Applicants must have an interest and some prior knowledge in plants, gardening and the environment to join us as Marketing & Admin Assistant at an exciting time in our development.
Purpose of the Role
Using our Marketing Strategy, you will continue to grow our audience participation with the organisation and build awareness of who we are and what we do.
Day to day:
Broadening and diversifying our reach through social media
Keeping our website up-to-date and engaging
Designing relevant print media for all areas of the organisation
Creating newsletters and managing our mailing lists
Answering email and phone enquiries as the voice of our organisation
Analysing website and campaign data and presenting KPIs
Collecting and reviewing feedback
Various administrative tasks
The successful candidate will:
Have an interest in horticulture and the environment
Be educated to degree level in marketing or a similar qualification
Be familiar with SquareSpace CMS
Have professional experience managing social media channels
Have strong IT skills and able to use a variety of editing software
Be self motivated and highly organised
Be flexible, resilient and resourceful and be able to work under pressure
Have an eye for detail and be able to work independently
