Volunteering

At Walworth Garden, we consider volunteering a two-way street. You get the opportunity to give back to your community, and we get something done that we would have been unable to do without your help. It is only when this reciprocal arrangement works well, that both parties become satisfied and feel valued.

To this end, we list below the skills we are currently looking for. This list is always changing so please check back from time to time if you keen to volunteer with us.

Experienced gardeners - greenfingered individuals who we can trust to help us care for the garden, glasshouses and plant nursery areas with minimum supervision.
Volunteer beekeepers - please click here to sign up as a volunteer beekeeper

Qualified electrician
Volunteer Fundraiser
General Admin volunteer

If you would like to learn how to garden, or gain a gardening qualification, we offer some free places on both our Introduction to Gardening workshop, and our QCF accredited Level 2 in Work Based Horticulture courses.

If you meet the criteria above, or have a particular skill that you think we may find invaluable, please email george@walworthgarden.org.uk
