Group Visits

We regularly welcome groups of all kinds to tour and explore the Garden, and take part in progressive learning sessions that put the environment first. Our highly biodiverse site, hidden just off Walworth Road in South London, hosts real-world examples of sustainable practices that work in tune with nature. We use our experience to share everything from fun and simple hands-on practical sessions with plants and wildlife; to challenging discussions around climate crisis and biodiversity loss, for all, from Year 1 pupils to adult learners.

Learning opportunities include:

  • We can welcome your group to explore our biodiverse, award-winning Garden, and discover our 8 ponds, tropical greenhouse, womeries, composting area, fruit trees, eco-heap, and more. We can advise on a carousel system around these areas to get the most out of the session. Please express your interest in the form below.
Please note: we cannot accommodate children being left unaccompanied at the site.

  • Our expert teachers and staff can design unique workshops for any group - from hands-on seed sowing, to wildlife gardening, understanding habitats and eco-systems, and discussing climate change and the climate emergency. Please express your interest in the form below. Note that bespoke workshops will incur additional costs.

  • Do your staff need to brush up on their environmental knowledge? Perhaps you are starting to prepare for the introduction of the incoming Natural History GCSE? We can work with your organisation to deliver specialised sessions on local wildlife, environment, and ecosystems, as well as the critical global challenges of climate change, biodiversity, and sustainability. Please express your interest in the form below.

  • Like what we do? Our BALI Accredited environmental landscaping team can design and install a progressive, biodiverse, and safe garden for your site. Find out more and request a consultation here.

We also offer corporate volunteering opportunities at the Garden, as well as learning and wellbeing sessions at your location or online - please visit this page for more information.
