Workshop: Drawing From Nature
Explore the gardens with a pencil in hand and discover how drawing nature can help you slow down, look carefully, and learn more about plants. Participants will work with professional artist Xanthe to learn new techniques using pencils and watercolours and will come away with a series of beautiful cards and artworks.
This workshop will cover:
Drawing games and techniques to build your confidence
Exploring the gardens and drawing from observation
Introduction to watercolour painting
Making hand-made cards and artworks
This session is suitable for those with all levels of experience, from complete beginners to experienced artists. Materials will be provided but participants are welcome to bring their own.
