Workshop: Glisten up: Botanical plant oils for radiant skin
Discover how familiar favourites and intriguing lesser-known oils can be blended into luxurious, effective everyday skincare. In this hands-on workshop, participants will explore the textures, properties, and aromatic character of a range of botanical oils — from nourishing sweet almond and golden jojoba to more unusual plant oils used in contemporary natural skincare.
Guided through the foundations of oil-based formulation, attendees will learn how different oils support the skin, hair and body, while gaining confidence in blending products tailored to individual needs and preferences.
Throughout the day, participants will:
Explore the history and botanical origins of plant oils
Learn the characteristics and benefits of carrier oils and selected aromatic ingredients
Discover how oils are used in modern natural skincare rituals
Experiment with scent, texture, and absorption
Understand simple balancing principles for different skin types
Create two personalised oil blends to take home, gently fragranced with skin supporting
premium essential oils
Designed to be sensory, practical, and creative, this workshop blends botanical knowledge with hands-on experimentation. Ideal for beginners, plant lovers, wellbeing groups, creative audiences, and anyone curious about natural skincare and scent.
