Workshop: Become a Houseplant Expert
For all those caring for (or accidentally killing!) their houseplants, join our resident houseplant expert to learn how to keep them looking their best. No plants are truly 'indoor' plants, and so learning about their origins and requirements is a dedicated skill filled with trial and error. From deciding on the plants you choose to keep inside, to year-round tips on care, this workshop will give you the practical techniques and principles required to treat your botanical cohabitants well and keep them thriving. We will debunk a range of houseplant myths, and demonstrate how to propagate some classic houseplants at home on the windowsill.
The workshop will cover:
Choosing the right plant for the right space
Signs that your houseplant is ready for a bigger pot + how to repot
Moisture, light and temperature requirements
Easy propagation techniques
Trouble-shooting session at the end of the workshop
Participants are welcome to bring photos of their houseplants for specific advice.
