One of our most popular workshops, Introduction to Gardening is designed to guide you through the introductory knowledge that will help you to become a successful gardener. This is the first session we recommend to all with no gardening experience, as well as those looking to begin growing technical and practical skills, as it provides a primary insight into the fundamentals of gardening. This session will cover:

• Growing media

• Propagation

• What to grow that's easy

• Gardening with nature

• Pruning

• Pests and diseases - avoidance tactics

• Right plant, right place and aspect - don't fight the site.

We also allow (and encourage!) plenty of time for questions, and welcome discussion in shaping the session.
